"Paradisgartl" to City Centre (First District): Board the 38 tram on the nearby 'Grinzinger Allee" stop (direction “Schottentor”) crossing the street, and ride it to the end station at Schottentor. At Schottentor, you can walk into the First District, ride the U-2 (u-bahn), or ride the 1, 2, or D tram around the Ring, which forms the boundary of the First District.

City Centre (First District) to "Paradisgartl": Ride the 38 tram (Strassenbahn) from the stop Paradisgasse direct to the Schottentor endstation, you can walk into the First District, ride the U-2 (u-bahn), or ride the 1, 2, or D tram around the Ring, which forms the boundary of the First District. The subway (U-bahn) U-2 line and the 1, 2, and D trams serve this stop. At the Schottentor stop, go to the lower level. Board the number 38 tram, which will show “Grinzing” on the front. Take the 38 Tram till the 'Paradisgasse' stop (tenth stop). Exit the tram and cross the 'Grinzinger Allee' DOWN, the second house on the right side is th "Paradisgartl"

You can buy your ticket from any U-bahn station or train station. Most of the ticket touch-screen kiosks in the U-Bahn or train stations support international languages. If you are caught without a valid ticket, you will be fined approx. 80 Euro!
